Beauty Treats BB Cream

Hi Lovelies
I saw this Beauty Treats Blemish Balm at the makeup counter while in Pennywise stocking up on a few essential items, what really caught my eyes was the price tag of TTD$24.95 The beauty balm craze have been around in the eastern countries for awhile and has only filtered down to our little isle when US companies started marketing their own version of the product around early spring last year, perhaps before.. but now you are actually able to get it in a few more shades.
I enjoy You tube, and as for those beauty gurus experiencing spring, they are including it as a staple product for their spring to summer months because of its lightweight capabilities along with bronzers of course..

There Beauty Treats version comes only available in four shades:

So I was a little uneasy about making a purchase, both because of the colour selection as well as to me it was always geared for those with dry skin. But I've got a few powders that are a shade darker, so maybe one of them would work to top it off, and then I read its product description..

Darkest shade is Butterscotch

"BB cream, also known as Blemish Balm, is an all-in-one cream that offers the benefits of makeup and skincare in one easy step. With one application, this multi-benefit product primes, tints, nourishes, smoothes and protects the skin. It hydrates to maintain healthy moisture for a fresh look, while preventing oils and diminishing the appearance of pores, fine lines, and uneven skin tones.
 All-in-one moisturizer, primer, and foundation

Creates a smooth finish and evens out skin tone

Suitable for all types of skin and skin tones"

This was my result:

So overall my thoughts on this Beauty Treats BB Cream
  • It felt light weight on my skin
  • It gives very light coverage but can be built up a bit.
  • Has a creamy texture
  • There was a slight white cast (remember its a shade or two lighter than my skin tone) but when topped with my L'oreal True Match powder it blended well.
  • My pores looked a little less noticeable than when I used the moisturiser only.
  • While at work (which is a non air conditioned environment) my look lasted well for at least three hours.
  • It did not leave my skin feeling greasy.
  • It did not irritate my skin.

Discontinue use if irritation occurs

Note: this did not contain any SPF as you can check in the ingredients list above, it also seemed to work as a tinted primer, there are other BB cream with much more helpful feature in there ingredient listing that you can try,but it works okay for what it says it does its one major downfall for me is its colour range is still limited for darker women, but its price point and ingredients which seemed a bit more "green"/ people friendly suited my pockets  very well.

For General Knowledge
Besides functioning as a lightweight  foundation, Blemish Balm Cream really gained in popularity due to some very helpful ingredients they would contain, such as
